Summary
- Upload new price types (standard costs and contract prices) at the company level to be applied across your projects
Company-wide Price Files
You can access the new Company Price Files page to manage company-wide price files. From the projects list’s actions menu, select View Company Price Files.
From here you can click Upload New Prices to upload the following price types:
- Standard Costs (at the item level)
- Contract Prices (at the manufacturer part level)
- Partner Quotes (at either the item or manufacturer part level)
You can also click the filename link to download the original price file, or the delete link to delete the prices. Use caution when deleting price sets: this action will also affect other projects with overlapping items and can affect Model prices used as price fillers.
The company-wide prices can be configured in your project’s Cost Comparison configuration wizard for comparison. In this example, Standard is configured for comparison and Partner 2* could be prices from another project with overlapping items or prices that were uploaded company-wide.
You’ll see contract prices listed in the Best Price column.
You can click on the row to see the item details side-pane with the provenance of the price.
When you export the Materials table, all of the new information is also included.
